What I’ve been doing in my life

This is my life so far.

Born,

Walk for the first time,

Talk for the first time,

Went to school,

Graduated high school,

Went to college,

Found love, then lost it,

Work as an intern,

Do my thesis.

My life has always been structured and normal. I screwed up a little along the way, but I ended up the same as others. Graduated college. Almost.

And then what?

The possibilities are endless. It scares me, and intrigues me at the same time. I feel like an animal being let off after years of being in a cage.

After this, there will be no structures. Maybe there will be questions from family and friends about being married and having kids, but actually my entire life is up to me. I will be living on my own, paying my own bills, and tidying my own house (hopefully!).

They say the successful people embrace the uncertainties.

I know it won’t be comfortable.

But I hope I can learn embracing those changes, adapting quickly, and living my life mindfully.
